Summary: Loved it 'til it broke
Comment: I bought these headphones after reading reviews, and promptly took them on vacation -- 7 flights in 2 1/2 weeks (went to Australia). They worked really well, didn't hear crying kids, enjoyed Qantas inflight entertainment; that is until they stopped working. The noise canceling part was fine, however wouldn't work with the airline entertainment system (wound up using their crummy headphones to hear the remainder of the movie), nor my Ipod. Yes, I did replace the battery just in case (not the issue). So now I have to send them for warranty repair. I'm not happy...we'll see how it plays out.

Summary: Excellent Value and Performance!
Comment: Not only did I buy two of these for a very long plane ride for a recent vacation; I find myself putting them out all the time at home when the wife, kids, neighbors, lawn mowers, etc, etc are to loud and Im trying to focus on something. Heck I have them on as I write this review. While others will give you a much longer, more detailed review, all I have to say is try to find some other product out there with 800+ reviews at 4.5 stars - you won't find any. Priced currently at eighty four dollars, you could buy these for a family of four, for the cost of only ONE pair of Bose - Come one! Add them to your cart and don't think twice about it. Excellent quality, no regrets.

Summary: Great Headphones, Awesome Price
Comment: I am not a technical expert, first off. I love music, and I love to listen to music and even films, undisturbed. I can completely focus on whatever I am listening to wearing these headphones. I have been using them for over 6 months now. The sound is as good as my husbands $300+ Bose headphones and mine came with a sleek, hard case! At about $100 on Amazon, the clarity and noise canceling aspects are SUPERB. I find myself on long (12 hours plus) flights nowadays, and these really help pass the time in a very comfortable fashion. I leave them on even if I am just reading or dining to eliminate the noise. This also keeps my children from excessively demanding I referee some dispute on said 12 hour flight, a fringe benefit. And the battery life is substantial, much longer than I expected. But there is room to throw an extra set in the sturdy carry case for emergencies anyway.
The benefit and value are tremendous, don't hesitate to make this purchase vs the similar Bose product.

Summary: Can Hear the Music on NYC Subway!
Comment: I bought these headphones for my boyfrend, who is always riding the subways in NYC. He said they were absolutely fantastic! They block out the noise and allow him to hear the music while on the train. They make his long commute much more enjoyable. And for the cost of these headphones compared to some of the others, you can't beat it.

Comment: These headphones are exactly what I was looking for: amazing sound quality at a reasonable price. Why pay $300 for Bose when you can have Audio-Technica for a third of that? The noise canceling capability is good, and when I listen to my music with these, I hear little things that I never knew were there before. Highly recommended.
